Client reports
A client report shows one client's figures for the dates you pick, ready to download as a PDF or share as a link. Open Reports in the sidebar to start.
Make a report
- On Reports, select New report.
- Under Report on, choose A client and pick the client, or choose Accounts and tick the accounts you want.
- Pick the Dates, such as Last 30 days or Last month, or Custom for your own dates.
- Under Start from, keep Standard layout or pick one of your templates.
- Select Create.
The standard layout has the headline figures with their change from the period before, spend and conversions by day, a table by platform, the top campaigns and a Notes block.
Edit the blocks
A report is a list of blocks. Select Add block to add one of five kinds:
- Figures: up to eight headline figures, each with its change.
- Line chart: one or two figures by day, week or month.
- Bar chart: one figure by platform, account or campaign, top 5, 10 or 20.
- Table: rows by platform, account, campaign, ad group, ad or day, with the columns and order you choose.
- Text: your own notes for the client.
Each block has a menu with Edit, Move up, Move down, Duplicate and Delete. You can also drag a block by its handle to move it. Changes save as you go. To reuse a layout for other clients, select Save as template.
Which figures a report shows
Reports use the figures Dataden has already saved, up to yesterday. If your dates run past the last saved day, the report says so with a line such as "Figures up to 20 Oct."
Money stays in each account's currency. A report over accounts in two currencies shows each currency on its own.
Conversions are shown by platform and never added across platforms, because each platform counts them in its own way.
Each person sees the figures of the accounts they can see. Opening or downloading a report does not count toward your plan's report runs or rows.
Add your branding
Owners and admins open Branding from the profile menu (top right). There you set the agency name, the accent colour and a logo (PNG or JPEG). They appear on every report.
Reports end with a small "Made with Dataden" line. Hiding Made with Dataden needs a paid plan.
Download a PDF
Select Download PDF. The report opens in a new tab laid out for A4 paper, and your browser's print window appears. Choose Save as PDF as the printer and save. The file is named after the client and the dates.
Share a link
Select Share to make a private link. Anyone with the link sees the report as it is at that moment, without signing in. Later changes to the report do not change what the link shows.
- To show newer figures, select New link. The old link stops working.
- To stop sharing, select Turn off link.
